Sauvignon Blanc is often celebrated for its freshness. This wine reveals just how captivating the variety can become when exceptional fruit meets patient oak ageing.

Produced from hand-harvested grapes grown in the Sari vineyard in Slovakia's Nitra wine region, this Premium Sauvignon Blanc spent nine months maturing in new 300-litre oak barrels, gaining richness and complexity while preserving the grape's natural vibrancy.

The wine shines with a brilliant golden colour and delicate green reflections. Aromas of gooseberry, white peach and ripe pear are beautifully layered with notes of vanilla, toasted oak and sweet baking spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and beautifully structured, combining generous fruit with lively acidity. A long, mineral finish is complemented by subtle creamy and nutty nuances, creating a Sauvignon Blanc that is both powerful and refined.

This is not the grassy, youthful Sauvignon Blanc many drinkers expect. Instead, it offers a sophisticated interpretation that rewards slow enjoyment and demonstrates the remarkable potential of Slovak terroir.
