An elegant and expressive Pinot Gris from the sun-drenched vineyards of Strekov, one of Slovakia’s most respected wine-growing regions. Produced by the family-run Vinárstvo Berta, this wine captures the varietal’s characteristic richness while maintaining remarkable freshness and balance.

Bright straw-gold in colour, the wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe pear, quince, yellow apple and delicate floral notes. The palate is generous and rounded, revealing layers of orchard fruit complemented by subtle hints of honey, almond and gentle spice. A vibrant acidity provides structure and freshness, leading to a smooth, lingering finish.

The warm Pannonian climate of southern Slovakia allows the grapes to achieve excellent ripeness, resulting in a wine with both aromatic intensity and elegant complexity. This versatile Pinot Gris pairs beautifully with roast poultry, creamy pasta dishes, grilled fish, soft cheeses and mushroom-based cuisine.
